Committees and Volunteer Opportunities
TPC needs the help of many parents throughout the year. Your time invested in volunteering for a committee ensures that the quality programs we offer will continue in the future. We encourage all parents to become involved. All volunteer opportunities are listed on the TPC Membership Form and may be submitted to the Main Office at PHS.
Homecoming: Assists with homecoming activities as needed.
Hospitality: Provides refreshments at various TPC & school functions.
Knights on Call: coordinates the Directory Spot App
Membership/Publicity: Recruits new members, handles marketing efforts, and maintains TPC’s social media presence.
Mini-Grants: Reviews applications & provides grants to school-sponsored clubs.
Scholarship: Awards academic scholarships to qualified graduating seniors. Advertises & processes scholarship applications.
Volunteer Coordinators: Organizes the list of volunteers for various committees.
American Education Week: Oversees a teacher-staff breakfast in November. Coordinates sweet trays during that week.
Prospect High School Gift and Craft Boutique: Organizes a holiday craft fair to raise money for scholarships. Numerous volunteers are need prior to the event as well as on the day of the fair.
Staff Appreciation Week: Oversees a teacher-staff breakfast in May.
Parents Preparing for Prospect/PPP: Develops and presents an informative session for 8th grade parents in coordination with administration and TPC parents. Invitations are sent to each feeder school.
Class Reps: Communicates throughout the year with Student Council and class sponsors to keep TPC informed of class activities.
