Relay for Life Kickoff set for Februay 14

The Kickoff Celebration for the American Cancer Society's 2012 Relay for Life of Mt. Prospect/Prospect Heights will be held Tuesday, February 14, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the community rooms at Prospect High School. Prospect High School's 2012 Orchesis Show, "THROUGH OUR EYES," will present a wide variety of dance styles, from ballet, pointe and contemporary, to jazz, tap and hip-hop. Performances will take place Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 2- 4, in the school's theater, with a 7 p.m. curtain time. Prospect to Host 2nd Annual ST. Baldrick’s Event

Prospect High School will hold its second annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser from February 21 through March 23. St. Baldrick’s mission is to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for childhood cancer. Prospect’s project will include three phases. In phase one, 7th-hour classes will collect money from Feb. 21 through March 23. The two classes that raise the most money per student will win pizza parties.
